The goal of ReDroNav is to develop and integrate innovative technologies into a solution for massive and intelligent data capture and processing, based on a connected UAS network, that provides relevant information to improve mobility and make it more sustainable. These technologies (advanced sensor systems, object detection and tracking, 5G communication, vision and artificial intelligence, etc.) will deliver information over large areas regarding road conditions, vehicle and pedestrian density, and alerts in case of incidents or emergency situations, which will be efficiently transmitted to the necessary stakeholders to support mobility coordination through better-informed decision-making.
