VIDAAS is a centre for Vanguard and Innovation for Development of Autonomous, Active and Safe Living. We are a social innovation laboratory promoted by the Government of Navarre.
It is aimed at citizens, social entities that support and assist people, universities and technology centres that generate knowledge, companies that develop solutions, and the public administration.
The VidAAs Centre has a physical headquarters in Sarriguren (Navarre), at Calle Garajonai 49, with accessible and adapted facilities. It offers
Co‑creation and coworking spaces, specially designed for social entities and equipped with modular furniture, mobile whiteboards, interactive screens, and audiovisual resources.
Experimentation rooms to test technological and social solutions in simulated or real environments, assessing accessibility, usability, and autonomy.
Collaborative work areas and meeting rooms for technical teams, researchers, and organisations, with connectivity and digital support.
Assignment belonging to the Department of Presidency and Equality – Directorate General for Planning, Coordination, Innovation and Evaluation of Public Policies.
We work in the service of people to improve their autonomy and quality of life throughout their entire life cycle. We implement new ways of networked action to develop specific solutions for emerging collective challenges.
Centro VidAAs drives social innovation through advanced technologies integrated into Living Lab methodologies, enabling experimentation in real, person‑centred environments:
- Technology in experimentation rooms, where tools such as Darwin Biomed smart walkers and INNTRO smart kitchens are used to promote autonomy, safety, and healthy living.
- Testing of applications such as the Navarre Identification Wallet, a key digital solution for personalised access to social and healthcare services.
Artificial Intelligence applied to social wellbeing, as in the “Retos IA” project, which designs practical, person‑centred solutions.
