The Signal Transport service is defined as providing clients with WAN connectivity services for data, video or voice signals in different modalities with carrier‑grade quality, through a high‑capacity data transport network that uses the Government of Navarre’s optical fiber backbone and next‑generation digital radio links, combining the most advanced data transmission technologies (DWDM optical transport, IP/MPLS, Carrier Ethernet).

This transport network, which covers most of the Chartered Community of Navarre, enables the transmission of data, voice or video signals, providing connectivity to the corporate sites of the Government of Navarre and public companies, and connecting all the Government of Navarre’s telecommunications sites and the main towns and corporate locations with the Government of Navarre’s Data Processing Centers (CPDs). It also has points of presence and aggregation in different areas of Navarre, including industrial estates. In addition, it features redundant routes with leased lines from operators between its nodes to guarantee service availability.

The continuous renewal and evolution of the transport network, ongoing actions aimed at improving its capillarity, capacity, integrity and robustness, as well as monitoring by NASERTIC’s own personnel, ensure service continuity and guarantee the delivery of an increasingly higher‑quality service to its clients.
