The Navarra Cybersecurity Center (NavCC) is the reference center for cybersecurity in Navarra. Its main objective is to drive the development of cybersecurity initiatives that lead to increased cyber‑resilience across all areas of the Chartered Community of Navarra (citizens, the business sector —with a special focus on SMEs and self‑employed workers— and public administrations).

The Navarra Cybersecurity Center (NavCC) is an initiative led by the Department of University, Innovation and Digital Transformation of the Government of Navarra, framed within the collaborative project CIBERREG – Boosting cybersecurity from the territories –, which involves seven other Spanish regions and is part of the https://www.incibe.es/retechRETECH programme (Territorial Networks for Technological Specialization), promoted by the Secretariat of State for Telecommunications and Digital Infrastructures, coordinated by INCIBE, and financed with funds from the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan (Next Generation).

The initiatives of the Navarra Cybersecurity Center are aimed at energizing the cybersecurity sector in the Chartered Community, thereby contributing to the sustainable socioeconomic transformation of Navarra in a digital, hyperconnected, and cyber‑resilient environment. In this regard, a series of strategic lines of action have been defined, encompassing the full spectrum of activities carried out by the center:

  • Cybersecurity Center: serving as a one‑stop shop and reference point to bring cybersecurity closer to Navarrese society, relying on the services offered by INCIBE (National Cybersecurity Institute of Spain).

  • Business ecosystem development: identifying key actors in the cybersecurity sector in Navarra, creating a catalogue of products and services, and promoting and encouraging a cybersecurity culture within the Navarrese business community.

  • Talent management: driving the creation of specialized training pathways in cybersecurity, in collaboration with universities and vocational training centers, with the aim of generating highly qualified professional talent that ensures the sector’s sustainable growth.

  • Awareness‑raising: developing cybersecurity awareness campaigns for citizens and companies to increase knowledge and sensitivity to risks, threats, and preventive measures, helping to strengthen individual and collective cyber‑resilience.

  • Cybersecurity for Local Entities: coordinating the project for the deployment and operation of cybersecurity services for local entities with fewer than 50,000 inhabitants, promoted at the national level by the Ministry of Territorial Policy and the Ministry for Digital Transformation and Public Service (COCS‑EELL project).
