DTT Broadcasting

Service through which Nasertic provides the broadcasting service for television signals (DTT) in Zone II of the Chartered Community of Navarra, by managing, operating, and maintaining the equipment and tools required for the provision of broadcasting and transport services for the state and regional digital multiplexes.

Zone II of the coverage extension of the Chartered Community of Navarra is the area in which the audiovisual communication service concessionaires for terrestrial broadcasting (Corporación RTVE, Atresmedia, Mediaset, Net TV, Veo TV, etc.) have no coverage obligations, and where the Government of Navarra provides this service through Nasertic.

Therefore, NASERTIC carries out the provision of the DTT service in Zone II of the Chartered Community of Navarra by managing, operating, and maintaining the equipment required for broadcasting and transporting the signal of the multiplexes described in:

• 12 Telecommunication Centres and 57 cable distribution networks for the channels corresponding to the RGE1 multiplex of the public concessionaire RTVE.

• 50 Telecommunication Centres and 57 cable distribution networks for the channels corresponding to the RGE2 multiplex of the public concessionaire RTVE and the MPE1, MPE2, MPE3, MPE4, and MPE5 multiplexes corresponding to private concessionaires

• 63 Telecommunication Centres and 57 cable distribution networks for the regional channel.

The existing cable distribution networks owned by the Government of Navarra are also included, in those localities of Navarra where DTT coverage by terrestrial broadcasting is not sufficiently good.

Likewise, and with Nasertic also acting as a network operator, the television broadcasting service is provided to those local concessionaires that carry out their transmissions from telecommunication centres of the Government of Navarra.
