The Government of Navarre has several telephony systems based on VoIP technology, enabling the provision of both basic and advanced telephony services.

These systems have an architecture designed to deliver services with high availability, implemented using virtualization technologies, redundant topologies and geographical diversity. They also include alternative service delivery mechanisms for the most critical services that must operate 24/7.

These telephone exchanges enable voice communication both within the Government of Navarre’s corporate sites and between the Government of Navarre and the citizens of the Chartered Community.

The telephone exchanges support more than 17,000 internal basic telephony extensions distributed across more than 600 sites. Of these, around 600 are part of one of the 90 specific telephone support groups based on Contact Center technology, which operate in areas such as healthcare, citizen services and IT support.

NASERTIC is responsible for the management, operation and maintenance of these telephone exchanges and contact centers. This includes all activities related to documentation and asset inventory, monitoring and supervision, preventive, corrective and proactive maintenance, as well as configuration and update tasks, capacity and availability management, and the preparation of evolution and improvement proposals.

The continuous renewal and evolution of telephony software and equipment ensure a secure system which, combined with an architecture designed to maximize availability, delivers the highest quality in the services provided.

Citizens of Navarre in general: the telephone services provided by the Government of Navarre and its Public Companies across their more than 1,000 corporate sites (Hospitals, Health Centres and Clinics, Educational Centres, Courts, Libraries, etc.) are supported by these telephone exchanges.

Civil servants from the different departments and autonomous bodies of the Government of Navarre. Internal calls between these units are handled through these systems.
