The Government of Navarra launches a new specialised employment support service through a mobile office serving municipalities in the Ribera region
The Councillor for Social Rights, Social Economy and Employment, Carmen Maeztu, and the Managing Director of the Navarra Employment Service–Nafar Lansare (SNE-NL), Miriam Martón, visited the Government of Navarra’s Mobile Citizen Service Office, which is currently in Cintruénigo. This resource is designed to ensure equitable access to basic services in municipalities with fewer than 20,000 inhabitants.
Through a service agreement with the public company Nasertic, SNE-NL will provide personalised support in areas such as career guidance, employability assessment, job offers, information on training courses and entrepreneurship advice. This service is available both to individuals seeking to improve their employment situation and to companies in the area that request it, all within the facilities of the mobile office. Representatives from around ten local companies took part in today’s session.
SNE-NL has implemented a single guidance system, in which the agency acts as the single entry point for this service. From that point, it assists people directly or refers them to other organisations, with special attention given to people with disabilities and those in or at risk of vulnerability, as well as other jobseekers.
The current system strengthens an open and flexible guidance model in which each person receives the number of sessions they need. In this way, continuous support is guaranteed based on each individual’s needs.
The aim of this mobile service is to avoid unnecessary travel and make it easier for citizens to complete administrative procedures in a close, agile and personalised way, ensuring comprehensive support, as is the case with all services provided by SNE-NL.
The office also enables a wide range of procedures and enquiries related to the Regional Administration. Citizens can access general information on services, programmes and aid from the Government of Navarra; register in the Cl@ve system; obtain the digital certificate; register documentation; receive support for online procedures; apply for the Youth Card; request aid; access the Personal Health Folder; or process licences. Since its launch in March, the mobile office has assisted nearly 2,500 people and has travelled to 36 municipalities.
Also taking part in this morning’s visit were the Managing Director of Nasertic, Luis Campos, and the Mayor of Cintruénigo, Óscar Bea.
Promoting Social Cohesion and Territorial Balance in Employment
One of the cross-cutting objectives of the active employment policies plan is to promote territorial cohesion, as rural areas often present weaker employment and activity indicators. SNE-NL has long been implementing employment policies that prioritise local action, such as local agreements to promote employability, support for local entrepreneurship, employment workshops with local entities, and digital skills training.
Despite advances in online services and digital procedures, it is also essential to act directly, face to face with citizens, and bring the Administration closer to remote areas to bridge the digital divide or address difficulties that can only be resolved through direct professional support. This is also relevant in employment, a key aspect for mitigating depopulation and fostering more balanced and sustainable development, helping people remain rooted in their communities.
The mobile office will continue travelling to other localities throughout October. It will remain in Cintruénigo until 10 October, in Cascante from 13 to 17 October, in Ribaforada from 20 to 24 October, and in Fitero (from 27 to 31 October).
